Beyoncé | Announcement, Memorial Day Weekend Shows in Atlantic City
I’ve been waiting SO DAMN LONG to write somethin’ on this b*tch; it’s almost been 2 months since my last tagged post about Beyoncé! I finally found something worth posting– none of this Blue Ivy Carter non-sense. Y’all need to get a life and stop obsessing; she’ll be releasing no singles anytime soon. Ok, so let’s get back to Bey and her music!
Yesterday (Monday), it was reported that Bey is just about ready to start working again and revert back to wearing her 5-inch heels. For her first concert performances of 2012, she will be taking over Memorial Day Weekend at Revel, a $2.4 billion beachfront resort in Atlantic City, NJ. Ovation Hall is the venue for three nights of performances: Friday, May 25 at 9 p.m., Saturday, May 26 and Sunday, May 27 at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, April 6, 2012 at 10 a.m. EST.
Designed by Cirque du Soleil veterans Scèno Plus, Ovation Hall creates an elevated concert experience for 5,050 fans by making the expansive space feel intimate. Every seat has an unobstructed view of the stage and a state-of-the-art sound system immerses the audience in the center of the action (source).
This explains my excitement right now:
